Background
This online Book of Remembrance has been created by Nursing Standard, in partnership with the RCN, to enable the nursing community and the public to pay their respects to colleagues who have died during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The team behind the digital book hopes it will provide a place for people from the UK and beyond to share their thoughts and feelings, and that a community will build around a common cause: remembering colleagues, family members and friends, and saying thank you.
While the peak of the pandemic may have passed, the ripple effects will continue to be felt for a long time to come. This online Book of Remembrance will demonstrate that nursing colleagues who have paid the highest price will not be forgotten.
